What Did I Find At Dollar General? || Can These Items Still Be Profitable? || Penny Items?

Great This was my very first time setting foot inside a Dollar General store….I had heard in the past that there was nothing special, and after watching several “penny item” video’s, I decided I wanted to see if it was worth putting retail arbitrage to work!

  1. It's in the official DG policy that all penny items in a cart are to be sold to the customer, unless it's a medicine/food that is expired. Although I found a penny clothing item missing the pants (found the shirt) and I unknowingly messed up by saying I couldn't find the pants, so employee said "I can't sell it if it's not complete set". I said, "I'll remember that for the future" lol, meaning I won't bring it up to employee when checking out.

  2. pretty sure there are people who use the coupons too, on items like toothpaste, etc and resell them for profit

  3. Still watching your video, but getting close to end, and I didn't notice you scanning any yellow star or blue dot items which are literally 50% off right now (at least in my stores).

  4. I found 3 of the mini drones and paid a penny each, they were marked $25. So if I can do the same on fb marketplace as the clocks, meet in person, should make a good profit.

  5. I found 2 projection clocks, 1 Disney Frozen and 1 Paw Patrol, for a penny each. Most likely gated from selling on Amazon as a completely new seller, but I sold them on facebook marketplace for $20. Profit $19.98 since I met the person to hand them off and no fees from fb. I originally had each item listed at $12, but after 2 people being interested then backing out I was done messing with those items, just wanted them sold.

  6. Iโ€™ve done RA there before. Every store has different toys . I went to one and they had so many halo toys and I made 30$ profit on some of them when it only cost 5$
