  21. The houses are ADORABLE! I have single ones but never thought of doing them like that.
Oh… and saws. Honey I'm obsessed with them. I have a miter saw, a table saw and jig saw and a scroll saw. But I'm also a woodworker, make all sorts of stuff (tables etc). But I so loving using them. The only thing I need now is a lathe. Lol

  22. Will make a lovely backdrop for a Christmas village too.

  23. Hi Heidi! the houses look super cute. Love the colors. Thanks for sharing and hosting the challenge.

  24. Heidi, I looooooove these and OMGOSH the other day I went to get a shovel out from under the house where there is a decent size crawl space – I hadn't been under there in yrs – and there is a huge brown bag busting at the sides with all 2×4 and smaller lumber. None are pressure treated so I can have them inside. When my mom called that night I asked her about them and she said a former coworker gave them to her thinking us kids might like them. I'm like OMGOSH MOM YOU HAVE BEEN RETIRED FOR 17 YRS and I have needed wood scraps before. I am so excited to see these houses Heidi as I just decorated the porch in a nautical flair. I have a huge cable table with a nice polyurethane on it. My Dad made it in the 60s. I love having center pieces. I want to make a fishing village now. I know what I can use to resemble nets. I have tons of shells from Sanibel. Tomorrow I am visiting my mom when it is cooler out at 10. I hope to have a long visit with my mom. Ladt Sunday it was too hot she couldn't sit outside but an hour. I drive home crying. My mom has terminal cancer but you wouldn't know. She us an Energizer bunny. She still eats full meals shevwakjs a mile every morning to the farmers market or to the library. She has lost little weight. I'm very very sorry the dr have told us a ball park figure in when she will pass. We dont have a soldier that needs to come home. She has no debt to her name but the debt of love like the Bible says. Anyway, I hope to have a long visit with my mom and leave there not crying. When I come home I want to go under the house ๐Ÿ˜ and dig out the lumber. Also for my Dads bday gift I made him a patriotic star out of painter sticks 3 weeks ago. I bought nice paint brushes and a set of 12 tubes of paint all in one pkg. I must finish my taxes this weekend but so excited about my project now. Thank you for great inspirations and Heidi, every Hone Depo has a wood scrap bin and under a foot is free. I collect pieces of molding to make my own photo frames. You can take little pieces of ornate molding tac it onto your roof line of your village and make gingerbread houses and with white puffy paint on the roof to resemble snow.๐ŸฅฐHow cool is that?
